About the project

A routing tool built for the people who actually drive.

Route Navigator is a precision routing utility built for professional drivers, delivery couriers, and field service operators who need to move efficiently between many stops in a single shift. At its core, Route Navigator turns a list of addresses into an organized, sequenced path: enter a route number, choose a working day, and the app surfaces each stop in order, opening any address directly in Google Maps so you never lose time switching between apps or re-entering destinations.

The app is designed for people whose livelihood depends on reaching the right place at the right time — postal workers, parcel delivery drivers, transit operators, home-health nurses, real-estate agents, and sales teams covering territories. Instead of manually sorting stops or relying on generic navigation apps that don't understand a multi-stop workflow, Route Navigator keeps an entire day's route organized in one clear interface. Offline vector mapping means the route stays available even when cell service drops, and a predictive traffic model re-sequences stops on the fly to avoid delays.

Route Navigator is built and maintained by Epifanio Aldasoro, an independent developer based in Canada focused on building practical, privacy-respecting tools for working drivers. The project is driven by direct feedback from the people who use it every day — not by ad networks or data brokers. There are no accounts required for core routing, no tracking, and no selling of location data. Every feature exists to solve a real problem faced on the road.
